Our bird hunters have seen fewer birds this year.....ah....I wonder why?  KWPD have warned us of this.  DROUGHT....ugh!      We have taken and seen some nice bucks.  Thanks members for sharing your photos with us!  We enjoy it very much!  Have a Happy Thanksgiving 2011!

Wow!  Gotta love it!  Cooler weather!  YEAH!   For the All American Hunter, the cool weather really hits the spot.  After a hot and dry summer there is always something energizing about a cool crisp morning!   Early mornings is my favorite time of the day.  Enjoy your cool days and be grateful for them!  ~Lori Ann

Well, today is the day that B BAR L's members have been waiting for.  September 1st we get to start making reservations for ALL DEER SEASONS!  Our HuntFishCampNetwork is a great tool in connecting our members with B BAR L's properties as well as thousands of acres in various parts of the United States!

We have our FFL (Federal Firearms License).  All of our members may purchase their firearms with us at our cost.  This is just one way of letting them know we appreciate them!  Not only can our members purchase firearms, they have access to hunting gear, scopes, ammunition, bows, and more!  ~LA

This morning I was reading an article about Hunter's Safety Courses.  There has been a tremendous lack of interest from the younger crowds.  Really, who cares at that age about the first Muzzleloader.  As the article was stating, safety is the key.  If you have an interesting idea....please SHARE!  I have something I am working on to present to just the right person!  ~LA

We are experiencing extreme drought conditions. How will this affect the wildlife?  Bluff Creek is the major creek that runs through Harper County.  It is completely dry.  We experience this sometimes in August but never this early.  It will be interesting to see what transpires over the next few months.  Pray for RAIN!

B BAR L will be hosting a CONCEALED CARRY class on April 23, 2011 in Anthony, KS.  Carl Mackey, Wichita, KS, will be the instuctor.  He is a man of many qualifications and experiences.  This will be an excellent class to attend.  Call us for more information and details.  Remember, in order to get a Concealed Carry License, this class is mandatory!   See you there!   ~LA

Bob and I had the opportunity to sit down and visit with a very nice hunting business owner in Reno County this week.  We were able to explain our hunting club and he explained how his operation works.  Even though we have two different types of clientele, we still have the same goals in common.  Our goals are pretty simple....to provide great hunting options with great hunting service.  We want to thank him for his time and hospitality.

Bob and I posted a couple of B BAR L's newest properties yesterday.  We went to Sedgwick County where we have a new TURKEY and DEER property south of Cheney.  The Ninnescah River runs through the piece.  It is REAL nice!   Then we headed to Grant County Oklahoma where we posted our new properties there.  As we were out posting in Oklahoma we ran into one of our newest members from Wichita, KS.  It was sure nice to see him and his wife out enjoying their day together!

Bob and I toured nearly 15,000 hunting acres yesterday in Woodward County Oklahoma!  The weather was perfect.....77 degrees, sunny and just absolutely wonderful.  We had a fabulous tour guide.  We love to be in the country!  The land in that area of Oklahoma is amazing.  With our club the possibilites are endless.  Kansas and the Oklahoma areas we lease land in are the best.  Bob and I always remind each other that we live in the perfect spot of the world for what we love to do!

We want to thank all the CM's that attended B BAR L's Annual Meeting on Saturday, February 26th.  We had a nice time sharing the evening with you!  Changes to some polices were agreed to and voted upon.  Bob and I can not brag enough about our fine members.  WE are grateful for THEM!    We look forward once again to this 2011 year and ALL that it will bring!  ~LA

Two guys walk up to a farmer's door and asked if they can lease his land.  One is from the city and is an individual hunter.  The other guy is from the country and owns B BAR L hunting club.  Both have the money that the farmer requires.  The farmer then asks the two men, "what else can you offer me?"  The man from the city has to think for a moment and realizes he only has a check.  The man from B BAR L hands the farmer a copy of Policies and Procedures, copy of Liability Insurance, examples of truck tags, photo ID cards, trespassing signs and a whole list of other offerings.  Who do you think the farmer is going to choose?

Hunting Clubs vary in characteristics. 

Everyone wants to hunt good property!  Everyone wants a good hunting experience!  Everyone will spend $$$$$$$!  Everyone wants something! 

We hope YOU want a quality private club that is committed in serving you EVERYDAY!  We have found that the QUALITY individual knows when he has found QUALITY!  We talk to hunters everyday and sad to say....most really don't want quality!  They say they do but their actions prove otherwise.   ~LA
